Training Description:  Strategies and resources presented in this training have been specifically developed for use with learners who are deaf and hard-of-hearing to:

  • assist educators in promoting their students’ English language acquisition
    and literacy development;
  • encourage English-across-the-curriculum initiatives; and
  • provide teachers of students who are deaf/hard of hearing with instructional avenues and ideas that stress problem solving and student engagement in mathematics learning.

Snacks will be provided on Friday; breakfast and lunch on Saturday.  We have reserved a block of 20 rooms at Virginia Crossings Hotel at the state rate of $94.00/night plus tax and fees.  You must make your own reservation by Sept. 21, 2018. This block of rooms will be released to the public after Sept. 21, 2018.  No reimbursement for lodging is available through this grant.
