VSDB Athletics
Our athletics program is a natural extension of the rest of our educational program, contributing to our students’ overall development and helping them to GROW, DO, and BECOME the best they can be.
Participation in sports builds confidence along with physical and mental capabilities. Students learn the joy of teamwork and the satisfaction of good sportsmanship. They learn how to persevere when things get tough, to set goals and meet them, and how to focus on the task at hand … all the while building habits of physical fitness and wellness that will serve them throughout their lives.
VSDB athletics teams compete with local public schools, private schools, and schools for the deaf and the blind in neighboring states.
